  so it's been a few months since i last went to a meeting but i've still had lots of guilty feelings about leaving, such as am i doing the right thing, thinking about friends and family, where do i go from here etc etc.

  but i think once you stop believing you can't go back.. anyway, today i had a very nice experience.

  my daughter had been to nursery today and when she got home i asked her what she had done and she excitedly told me they had been doing pumpkins.

  Serving Jehovah is the most satisfying way of life there is.

  That's a lie. I'm much more satisfied with my exJW way of life.

  Slaving for Hojovah and WT Corporation nearly drove me to suicide. And that way of life drove plenty of others I knew to commit suicide. Writing Department must believe we all felt too satisfied to continue living perhaps?

  Since it appears that an upcoming Botchtower farticle is trying to discourage partakers, the corporation needs to cut this chit-chat trying to reduce the nibble-and-sip crowd, and go with something more obvious. Install one of these in the back of every hall, but with the lettering, "In case of suspected unworthy Memorial partaking break glass"

  No longer qualifies to share in the ministry?

  i heard that co's were provided with a talk outline in which people who dress and act too "gay" could eventually "no longer qualify to share in the ministry", should they not change the way they look!.

  has anyone else ever heard of any other reason for which someone would be disqualified from the ministry?.

  2016 Calendar: Give us more money!

  just got a peak at the 2016 calendar and i cannot tell you how much it bothered me.

  it's all about constructing new kh and assembly halls, which is completely ironic given that the construction stopped almost worldwide.obviously this is proof that the borg is shifting from a magazine publisher to a real estate conglomerate, no wonder they're getting rid of 12 issues of magazines all together.. now, while the pdf of this is not up on the site yet, i will post confirmation as soon as it becomes available.

  Witnesses - Ever Wondered Why You're So Tired After Assemblies/Meetings?

  recently shared this with me.. they compared the tiredness they felt after attending an assembly and meetings, and noted how much worse it was than actually working and studying hard for hours for their secular employment!

  why were they so exhausted after an assembly/meeting?

  no, it wasn't satan.

  Yet after the assembly that was so exhausting, as soon as I changed clothes and got a breath of fresh air, I was recharged and ready to go. An almost miraculous transformation as I now had plenty of energy to go out and eat, go shopping, go dancing, anything else!

  but last night some friends from across the city called me up and said that the co was visiting their hall and in his talk he said that the society is getting geared up for a massive kingdom hall and assembly hall construction project worldwide next year.

  they told the publishers; "get ready".

  The WT world is always full of rumors and legends. The meetings and publications are so boring that dubs are always wanting to find something exciting to talk about. And the COs are a source of many legends because they are frantically trying to find something to make their visits "exciting" for the "friends". The material prepared for the COs to present is too boring for them to get any green handshakes, so they have to create excitement with ever-changing make-believe stories. Rumors like this are further confirmation that the monthly broadcasts aren't filling that gap for interesting material for the dubs to get excited about. The sheeple still want more interesting "insider" information that the WT website isn't providing.

  Oh boy, how exciting! Get ready because something is going to happen... NEXT YEAR!?!?!?

  This rumor is a knife in the heart of the earlier stories that construction was winding down so that the final push was being made in preaching before the great tribulation. That gives the "armageddon can" a big kick down the road of a few years! Why would they begin this big building campaign just in time for the government to seize all those properties and defile them?

  this issue contains the study articles for february 29 to april 3, 2016.. what about the number of those partaking at the memorial?12, 13. why should we not worry about the number of those who eat the bread and drink the wine at the memorial?12 in recent years, we have seen an increase in the number of those partaking at the memorial of christs death.

  that trend contrasts with the decrease in the number of partakers that we saw for many decades.

  i need some advice

  yesterday i finally confronted my mom with my research about the wtbts being registered with the un as a ngo for ten years.she didn't get angry at all but she says she doesn't want to doubt the organization, i asked her if she realizes that if this is true what it means and she replied by saying she believes she has found the truth and that satan wants me to turn away from the organization.she also said that apostates make these very clever looking articles to lure us away.i told her that i avoided all apostate websites(which i did) and went straight to the un which confirmed it.i asked her to do her own research on the matter but she refuses to saying she is not going to live her life having doubts about the borg.

  i don't think i can wake her up ,especially if she doesn't even want to think that the organization is not "god's earthly organization".. i was thinking that now that she knows about my doubts i can disassociate myself but as i only turned 18 this week and have nowhere to go if she kicks me out the house(my entire family are j-dubs) i don't know what to do to move forward from this point .do any of you have any advice for me ?

  Take your time and make your plans.

  i can disassociate myself but as i only turned 18 this week and have nowhere to go if she kicks me out the house(my entire family are j-dubs) i don't know what to do to move forward from this point.

  Mom has told you how she feels, and she's not looking to run for the WT exit. Instead of spending more energy in that direction, you need to make your own plans besides disassociation and getting kicked out of the house.

  What do you want for yourself in 5, 10, 25 years? Education? Career? Family? There is no armageddon coming and your WT indoctrinated family isn't going to make wise plans for your future when you turn 50.
